Boy's Track and Field Top 10 Times and Distances: Week 3

There were nine city best times and marks established at the Socorro, Chapin and Omohundro invitationals.

Here are the highlights from week three:

Parkland senior Joseph Gomez ran a personal best 22.00 in the 200 at the Chapin Invitational.

Pebble Hills senior Mark Barajas ran a 1:57.49 in the 800 at the Socorro Invitational.

Americas junior Diego Romero posted a personal best of 4:19.75 in the 1,600 at the Socorro Invitational.

El Paso High junior Miles Westbrook ran a personal best 9:24.84 in the 3,200 at the Socorro Invitational.

El Dorado's 800-meter relay of Jadarius Sanders, Josiah Trejo, Matthew Pinto and Miguel Chapa) won the Socorro Invitational in 1:28.95.

Montwood's 1,600-meter relay team of Rex Hendrix, Nico Bostillos, Christian Saenz and Seth Salas), won the Omohundro Invitational at Eastwood in 3:23.38.

Canutillo sophomore Eddie Najera tossed a personal best in the discus marking a 151-feet, 9-inch throw to win the Chapin Invitational.

Montwood senior William McLilly Jr. had a personal best leap of 6-feet, 2 inches to win the high jump at the Omohundro Invitational at Eastwood.

Franklin senior Mont Packer and Coronado senior Owen Levesque each hit the 14-feet mark in the pole vault. Levesque won at Chapin and Packer won at Socorro.
